The concept of the Pola Ginza Building is “Three types of ‘bi’ (beauty)”. The museum represents the “Art” component of this mission. Open to the public all year around free of charge, enjoy and experience the various artworks on display.
Founded in 1902 as Japan’s first soda fountain and ice cream parlor, both still rarities in the country at the time. The Tokyo Ginza Shiseido Building hosts a gallery, shop, café, restaurant, hall and bar. The Salon de Café serves traditional menu items from the Meiji era as well as modern desserts, a touch of elegance for your afternoon.

The Ginza Parlour has many different branches, but the restaurant of the Shiseido Parlour Ginza is particularly highly recommended, one of Ginza’s finest. There are fresh cakes, cheesecakes and other gift items available on the 1st floor.
Take a stroll down the glamorous main avenue of Ginza, and you will spot a large 13 storey building, a town in itself. Ginza’s largest multiplex “GINZA SIX” combines 241 brands from around the world, featuring the best cafes, restaurants, cosmetics and fashion. The premises also host art exhibits and a Noh theater, a nexus of culture and art as well as fashion and gastronomy.

March 2016 saw a new landmark opened in Ginza, the “Tokyu Plaza Ginza”. Enjoy a night view of Ginza from its rooftop terrace, the “KIRIKO TERRACE”.
The terrace has a lush “GREEN SIDE” and a “WATER SIDE” featuring an expansive water basin. The “GREEN SIDE” also features Shidare Sakura (weeping cherry trees), an expression of the seasonal delights of Japan. A café is also available for light meals.
