Course description
The Amustas, stands near Zojoji temple – famed for its relationship with the Tokugawa clan. Entering the spa, you will be greeted by the refreshing fragrance of tea from Kagoshima prefecture, Kyushu. Spa Amustas is built on the grounds where the main Edo mansion of the feudal lord of the Satsuma Domain (located in present-day Kagoshima) once stood. He was a leading figure of the Meiji Restoration that ended the Edo period (1603-1868) and brought Western influences to Japan. Inspired by the local history, we provide spa treatments blending the features of Tokyo and Kyushu Satsuma, of Japanese and Western cultures… We offer you an oasis in the heart of Tokyo metropolis.
