Cake to go

2024.10.26

A take-out cake shop located a 1-minute walk from Shibakoen Station

This shop was born from a project at Toita Women's Junior College in Mita. The takeout specialty shop was born out of the background of the sharp decline in cake sales due to the effects of COVID-19 and the challenge of selling on a 12.5 square meter plot of land. The name of the shop comes from "to go," which means "go to eat," and the interior design is based on a Korean cafe motif, and these were all ideas suggested by students.

The carefully crafted fresh cheesecake is baked at a low temperature, giving it a melting texture that doesn't even feel like it's been baked, and the cookie dough underneath has a crispy texture that you can't find anywhere else. They also sell special cakes for birthdays and other occasions, and although you must make a reservation, you can have your name engraved on the cake. Small whole cakes for 2-3 people can be purchased without making a reservation. They also sell baked goods, and their assorted baked goods make a great souvenir. The muffins are especially recommended, as they last for 1-2 months, making them the perfect souvenir.

With the convenience of takeout, this shop has a wide selection of items that can be used for any occasion, from souvenirs to sweets for special occasions.
